Kaleidoscope Dance Co

Kaleidoscope Dance Company raised it's curtain on September 12, 2005. Owner Lindsey Smith is launching KDC to a new level through her desire to be the most innovative and up-to-date dance company in the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati area. Her staff, all trained professionals, share her goals and ambition and the studio is proving to be a huge force in the area's dance scene. With over 100 students in it's first year of business, Kaleidoscope Dance Company had performances at Merchants and Music (Ft. Thomas, KY) and Procter & Gamble Fine Arts Fund (Cincinnati, OH). The entire studio participated in performing in our first annual spring recital, "Believe, " which had an attendance of over 500 people! The show received incredible reviews from the audience including, "Best costuming, music, and overall performances." Also, their competition teams received 7 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies at its first regional competition. During a performace at an international competition, one talented soloist placed in the top half of the world- at the age of only 15! During the next four years, we performed at various venues such as Merchants and Music (Ft. Thomas), Dance For Heart- American Heart Association (Florence, KY) and Home For Christmas (Ft. Thomas). Kaleidoscope Dance Company's enrollment continues to grow! With continued successful performances and competition wins, KDC is no longer considered a new-comer! Dancers and choreographers alike across the tri-state recognize KDC as a significant dance force that is on the rise! Kaleidoscope Dance Company Owner, Lindsey Smith, has been awarded with numerous Outstanding and Innovative Choreography Awards as well as dance teams awarded with Platinum Awards and High Scores Overall. While Kaleidoscope Dance Company provides a well-rounded and technical comprehensive study of dance to all of their students, the staff's main goal is to create a positive and fun environment for students, promoting self-confidence, discipline, and community through dance. We are launching into our sixth year of business, and we hope to have YOU on board! Come see the many colors of dance!
