History
The Village was founded in 1891 as a home for orphaned children, and for decades provided a sanctuary for those who often had no other place to go. Times have changed, and we discovered it wasn't just kids who needed our help. Today, The Village reaches out to more than 80,000 people every year, and we are constantly adapting our services to meet the needs of modern life.
