The North Dakota Association of Nurse Anesthetists (NDANA) is a professional association of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) practicing statewide. With a membership of 323 members, including 52 student members, NDANA is dedicated to promoting safe and high-quality anesthesia care since 1975.
As a member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA), NDANA represents CRNAs and student registered nurse anesthetists nationally. CRNAs have been the primary providers of anesthesia care in rural America for over 150 years, ensuring access to obstetrical, surgical, pain management, and trauma stabilization services in medically underserved areas. In fact, in some states, CRNAs are the sole providers in nearly 100 percent of rural hospitals.
