Fort Berthold Community College provides academic and vocational education and services to students. It has a library that contains a collection of more than 600 full-text magazines, newspapers, books and transcripts, as well as over 8,000 titles on humanities literature, computer science and agriculture. The college offers associate degree programs in elementary education, business administration, liberal arts, addiction studies and early childhood development. It also offers other courses in construction technology environmental science, agriculture, math, computer information systems and water treatment technology. The college is a member of the American Indian Higher Education Consortium and is accredited by the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges. Fort Berthold Community College, established in 1973, is located in New Town, N.D.
