WXII is the NBC local television affiliate that provides news, programming, entertainment and information to residents of the greater Winston Salem, N.C., area. The station, which broadcasts on channel 12, began operations in 1953 under the call letters WSJS. WXII is owned by Hearst-Argyle Television, which owns 25 television stations, and manages an additional three television and two radio stations throughout the United States.

They are so bias in their political broadcast, not true journalism. The editor gives them a script to read. True journalism stays unbias and let the viewers decide. Democratic propaganda. Pathetic.

The station is a subsidiary of Sinclair Communications. Sinclair Communications is the operating arm of Sinclair Broadcast Group s broadcasting operations. Founded in 1986, Sinclair Broadcast Group is a diversified television broadcasting company that owns, programs and provides sales services to more than 55 television stations in 30-plus markets.
