History
Founded in September 2009 by three Bourbon enthusiasts. In 2012 Whiskey University began teaching formal classes but, in those days, it was simply Whiskey 101, Bourbon 201 and the nine major Bourbon Distilleries each had a Tasting Class. In 2016 Whiskey University began offering Certificates, Diplomas and Degrees based on the number of courses and tasting each member had taken. Now the staff of 26 with 8 Chartered Instructors teach over 90 Tasting Classes about Bourbon and Whiskey.
