Weaverville Elementary School is located in western North Carolina and serves more than 350 students from grades second to fourth. The school employs more than 25 certified staff members and support personnel. The reading partners program is conducted in the school to assist second graders with reading skills. Its media center program works with other educators to design learning strategies and provides access to materials in all formats. The school offers various services and extra-curricular activities that include music, art, media, guidance, gifted and physical education programs, Weaverville wheelers, speed stacks, jump rope team, service club and stilt club. Weaverville Elementary School is part of the Buncombe County Schools District.
