Wake County Emergency Medical Services is a part of Wake County Government in North Carolina. The agency provides advanced life support emergency medical care services daily. It operates more than 15 dual-paramedic ambulances. The agency serves the municipalities of Wake Forest in Raleigh. Wake County Emergency Medical Services also manages advanced practice paramedic ambulances that respond to critical calls and perform home visits for high-risk patient populations. The agency offers transportation to medical emergencies. In addition, it includes a capnography and continuous positive airway pressure machines. Wake County Emergency Medical Services has responded to over 45,000 service requests and transported nearly 30,000 patients.
