History

Village Eye Care began in 1963 in Cameron Village. Bill Barbour, LDO recently retired as the oldest practicing Optician at the age of 78. Today, VEC is led by Dr. Christopher Bateman, OD with a dedicated team of eye care professionals committed to providing high quality services at reasonable prices.

We offer a variety of services from comprehensive eye examinations, sales of designer frames and contact lenses, to treatments of eye disease, diabetes evaluations and other medical services.
