United Way of Forsyth County is a fundraising organization that serves low-income families and homeless individuals. It offers Day of Caring, a communitywide event in which the organization connects businesses and volunteers with nonprofit agencies in need of help. The organization additionally operates 2-1-1, a service that provides 24-hour access to crisis intervention and health and human service referrals.
