Founded in 2002, Union County Public Library maintains a collection of videos, CDs, and books in English and Spanish. The library provides access to reference sources and updated information on library events. It organizes a variety of community-based programs, including story sessions, book discussions, film festivals and computer classes for area residents. Union County Public Library offers full library services in English and Spanish. In addition, its facilities include a genealogy area with a fireplace, meeting room, a toddler area with a silo and two study rooms. The library is located in Monroe, N.C.
