Triangle Tennis Club (TTC) is the first Gay and Lesbian tennis club in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill area, established in 2004. As a proud member of The Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance (GLTA), TTC aims to promote tennis within the LGBTQ+ community in the Triangle region. With over 50 members of varying skill levels, TTC organizes regular club meetings, participates in USTA and GLTA tournaments, and collaborates closely with Stonewall Sports Raleigh. Beyond tennis, TTC actively engages in community events and sponsorships throughout the Triangle.
TTC's main venue for club events is the Millbrook Exchange Park, although alternative locations may be used due to court availability. Club play typically takes place on Friday evenings or Sunday afternoons, depending on the season and the presence of other tennis events. Changes in the schedule or cancellations due to inclement weather are communicated to members through email, Facebook, and Twitter. New members of all ages and skill levels are always welcome to join TTC and contribute to the vibrant and inclusive tennis community in the Triangle.
