SpecialtiesB & E Air and Heat was started in 1983. Eddie Burkhalter went into the Army for 6 years, after that he used his GI bill for CPCC. There he took the Electronics Engineering and the Environmental Science Courses. Eddie went to NC State where he passed the Plumbing, Heating, and Air Contractor test and received his H2 and H3 license. # 15627. Eddie worked for 6 different Apartment communities repairing, replacing HVAC units, Water heaters, breaker boxes and Refrigerators. In 1983 he got one of the first cell phones. Ran a yellow page ad and started a side business B&E Air and Heat. Customers liked him so much that he quit the Apts and ran with his company B&E. In 1990 Eddie hired his first Employee. In 1992 Greg Robinson joined Eddie. They still run the company today. In 1998 B&E grew to 45 employees. We found out more people is not better. Now in 2017 Eddie reset the co.
