Established in 1995, The Cognitive Connection is an organization that provides treatment and care services to adolescents and adults who are victims of substance abuse addiction. It serves the communities of Catawba, Burke, Caldwell and Alexander counties in North Carolina. The organization offers various cognitive behavioral intervention, employment training, education and case management programs. Its educational and employment programs include the WIA Out-of-School Youth Program, Adult WIA Educational/Vocational Training, WIA Educational Solutions Program and Partner in JobLink Career Center. The Cognitive Connection also provides training and technical assistance services to criminal justice and other human service agencies.
