HistoryRIVAL Lacrosse was founded in 2001 as recreational youth lacrosse league. Its founders were themselves NCAA Div I lacrosse players in college, and also moved on to become NCAA Div I and high school coaches. Collectively our staff and coaches have over 200 years of experience playing, coaching and administering the game.SpecialtiesRival Lacrosse and all its affiliated programs mission is to promote and honor the fun game of lacrosse among the youth in the Triangle area of North Carolina. Our staff strives to enhance each player's individual and team skills with a consistent emphasis on sportsmanship and fair play. Teaching life lessons beyond the playing field and recognizing the importance of all players and participation regardless of ability, talent or skill. In the Spring our league has both boy's and girl's teams competing in Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and Wake Forest. We hold clinics and camps throughout the Triangle area during the summer, and offer a Fall Instructional Program as well.
