History
Southern Manners had been a dream for the Overholt family for several years. We had checked into a couple different locations but nothing worked out until 2013 when God opened doors and provided a great spot in downtown Columbus. It is truly a family affair here at the restaurant. Trish (Mom) is the owner and the heart and soul of all the food. She never went to culinary school but uses her knowledge from being born and raised Mennonite and cooking for her family of four kids and husband for 25 years. You will also find Pat (dad) in the kitchen running the grill but mostly out in the dining room going from table to table talking with everyone. Krista (oldest daughter) is behind the register taking orders and like her dad doing a lot of talking! Kara (youngest daughter) runs food and cleans tables. The two sons (Derrick and Andre) do not work in the restaurant but give lots of business advice!
