HistorySnider Tire, Inc. was founded in 1976 by John H. Snider, father of current President/CEO John K. Snider. Senior Mr. Snider purchased General Tire Service, a local dealer in Greensboro, North Carolina, and renamed the company Snider Tire, Inc. We originally offered a variety of products and services including car tires, new truck tires, off-the-road tires, and retread truck tires - many of the same products we still provide today.
