Shutter Shop was founded here in Charlotte NC by the late Larry Hollifield. Larry was an expert house painter as well as an expert wall paper hanger, he brought that knowledge of paint finishing and quality to the shutter industry. Larry passed on to life beyond this earth in 1992. In 1993 Shutter Shop was purchased by Winston G. Goode. Around 1994 Winston discovered his knack was installing shutters and he is the primary installer for Shutter Shop still today. Shutter Shop employees are long term, and committed to the quality that has been our main objective since 1979.
