Shamika is passionate about her work as a therapist and feels grateful to be able to provide dedicated service to clients. She loves helping people discover their strengths and learn new skills that they can use to navigate through the various challenges in life. When Shamika works with people, she sees them as a teammate. Past habits of thinking about and responding to situations in life can be difficult to overcome alone. As a team, we can identify what seems to be the root of the problem. We evaluate what has and has not worked in the past, and develop new ways of coping with the challenge or distress in our life. At some time in life we all experience anger, depression, anxiety, or relationship issues.
