HistoryPhyletus Wright has been painting for over a half a century. She began offering Original Acrylic Paintings in a few local restaurants in the Maggie Valley, NC area. Her work became very popular to tourists and locals alike. Originals would quickly sell out by the end of each summer, with folks calling asking to see the rest of her work and when more would be offered. Her family decided to attempt to locate as many of her paintings as possible and make giclee prints of her work. Both locals and tourists were located and were Very nice about loaning their original paintings to complete the giclee process. Everyone was also excited about the possibility to see all her work under one roof.
