History
Rebekkah Hilgraves, the owner of RadHaus.Studio, has been a broadcaster and audio engineer since the 1980s. Specializing in classical and jazz recordings, she branched out into electronic and electro-acoustic music in the 2010s. After a live broadcast and subsequent album release of a performance by Steve Roach, RadHaus.Studio was born. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, RadHaus.Studio worked with White Horse Black Mountain to establish a new online live music series, White Horse Live, as an effort to keep White Horse Black Mountain operating during the pandemic, and as a way to help artists make up for two years of lost gigs. The series ran for over 150 episodes before winding down in mid-2022, by which time White Horse Black Mountain was back in full swing. RadHaus.Studio is now a sponsor of the Women to the Front (WTF) Music Festival in Ashville, and offers the same full scale audio and video capabilities as a brick-and-mortar studio... but on wheels!
