The Pitt County Shrine Club is a distinguished brotherhood of men dedicated to fun, fellowship, and philanthropy. They enjoy a variety of social occasions, including parades, trips, dances, dinners, and sporting events, while supporting the World's Greatest Philanthropy, Shriners Hospitals for Children. Through their commitment to philanthropy, they provide specialized care to children up to 18 years old, regardless of financial need or relationship to a Shriner.
As a part of the Masonic fraternity, the Pitt County Shrine Club requires its members to first be Masons. With their roots in Masonry, the Shriners and Shriners Hospitals have a unique interdependent relationship. The Shriners of North America support the hospitals in various ways, including arranging and funding transportation for children and parents, driving families to the hospitals, and providing financial support through annual hospital assessments and fundraisers. With their new facility completed, the Pitt County Shrine Club looks forward to a new chapter in their mission to support children in need.
