History
Jen has a background in teaching English, specifically teaching ccollege-level English for 10 years before becoming a dog trainer. Here, she gained new insights and perspectives to create her own teaching philosophy, which was later adapted to training dogs. In 2011, Jen was an honors graduate of Animal Behavior College. She is well educated on learning theory, safety, equipment, canine developmental periods, breed characteristics, and canine communication. Teaching one-on-one dog obedience lessons since 2012, Jen continues to expand her methodology and knowledge of dogs by observance and education. Today, Pedogogy is Jen's business, made to teach dog owners how to best train their dogs. Positive & reward based methods are solely used, where choke collars, prong collars, pinch collars, etc, are not allowed.
