History
The North Carolina Tire Dealers Association was formed in 1964 to advance and safeguard the business interests of its members; to promote harmony, good will, and understanding among its members; to encourage an exchange of ideas and technical knowledge with retailing and wholesaling procedures; to improve the quality and standards of the products of the new tire and retreading industry; to acquaint, through advertising and other means, the buying public with the true value of the independent tire dealer in the community; and to represent the NCTDA in their contact with local, state, and national governments, and appear for and on behalf of the membership before legislative, administrative, judicial and quasi-judicial bodies of local, state, or federal governments.
