Lake Junaluska was founded as the conference center of the Southeastern Jurisdiction of The United Methodist Church. Today, Lake Junaluska welcomes guests from all walks of life, including corporate groups, religious retreats, weddings, reunions and vacation travelers. Lambuth Inn opened in 1921 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
