History
In 1954 Evan Vestal, along with his wife Verlie, purchased Kennedy's Auto Supply. Kennedy's was already an established business so the name has remained the same over the years. When Evan began his adventure Kennedy's offered hardware and auto supplies. Over time Kennedy's became the go to place for appliances, furniture, tires, toys, and much much more. Find someone fortunate enough to have lived in those days they will tell you that Kennedy's was the place to go for people from miles around. They offered credit accounts and even after computers and new technology still used old ledger books. As Wal-mart and Lowe's Home Improvement opened the competition got tough. So we have slowly transitioned to a store you could spend hours in browsing. You'll likely find things you haven't seen in years. Sadly our leader Evan passed on May 17th at the age of 88. Now his son Phil and grandson Wesley are carrying on the tradition, still changing. We look forward to seeing you!
