Inspired by her tenth grade biology teacher, Dr. Naumann knew she wanted to pursue medicine as a career at the age of 15. Dr. Naumann graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University and during her time in medical school she was named vice president of her sophomore class, vice president of student council and was a member of Iron Arrow Honor Society. Dr. Naumann's primary focus has always been on the patient first. She believes that what is going on in her patient's life is just as important as the medical approach. Dr. Naumann has been a resident of the Charlotte area for more than twenty years and is the mother of two children. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, keeping up with her children's activities and is a ballet enthusiast.
