From a young age, I knew I needed to go into medicine. It was a calling for me. \n To deliver superior care, a doctor must listen deeply and be present with each patient. Really hearing my patients and understanding their challenges is what I strive for. \n I'm the clinic lead for Novant Health Psychiatric Associates in Huntersville and serve as an adjunct professor at the UNC School of Medicine. \n I'm a member of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and am on the organization's lifelong learning committee. \n I enjoy reading medical journals and textbooks. I know it may seem boring, but I sincerely enjoy it. It keeps me current and knowledgeable about my field of medicine. I also enjoy spending time with my family and playing board games.
