The Human Resources Management Department is responsible for employee selection and recruitment, position management, training and development, employee and management relations, health benefits, and implementing federal and state safety regulations. It is a part of city of Goldsboro, N.C., which also operates finance, public utilities, fire, police, parks and recreation and planning and community development departments. The Goldsboro police department consists of three bureaus that include operations, support services and investigative services and has more than 100 employees to provide protection and law enforcement services to the community. The city s fire department offers fire protection and emergency medical and life safety services.
