For the Shell of It was co-founded by David McLean and Dawn Berard in August of 2019. After a visit to Dawn's hometown in late 2018 Dawn and David began to visualize how to bring the amazing taste of authentic New England Lobster to the South at an affordable price, using only 100% natural ingredients and made from scratch recipes. We took our time to create our concept and personally choose every vendor and supplier to ensure we remain authentic. What is important to understand about our company and vision is that while we would, of course, like to make money running this company, it is equally important to have fun and share the amazing flavors and products of New England.
