History
Since opening its doors in 1984, Eno Pointe Assisted Living in Durham has remained under the same management and is owned and operated by a family who has been long involved in senior health care and housing. Over 50 years ago, Riley and Margaret Evans, a farmer and a school teacher built a small rest home and several small houses in Bladen County to meet the needs of area residents. They had 5 children, all of whom attended North Carolina universities and settled in North Carolina with their families. In each of their children, they instilled the same desire to provide affordable quality health care and housing to seniors. Today, the family has expanded their holdings to include numerous rest homes and nursing homes throughout North Carolina, as well as several developments and other enterprises.
