Seventy-First Classical Middle School
Founded in 1924, Seventy-First Classical Middle School offers a variety of educational, emotional, social, moral and physical development programs. Its curriculum includes arts, English, mathematics, social studies, French language, science and physical education. It has various curriculum specialists that provide classes in communication skills. The school has a range of clubs, such as band, Battle of the Books, beta, chorus, civic oration, forensics, geography bee, journalism and memory book, mathcounts and orchestra clubs. Its other clubs include quiz bowl, school newspaper, Science Olympiad Committee, spelling bee and student council. Additionally, the school offers fine and performing art classes.
