History
1947 Trotter Building (art deco) - located in the Historic Geer Street neighborhood. Started as a car dealership, then became the BlueCross Blue Shield headquarters in the 1970s. The space has been an event venue since the 1980s, and was recently renamed the Durham Ballroom by the primary tenant and arts organization, the Living Arts Collective (LAC).
