Founded in 1913, the Crossnore School is a nonprofit organization that provides accommodation and education to children. The school s dinning hall offers breakfast and lunches to campus residents. The school also offers opportunity for recreation, travel and cultural activities. It has a weaving room and a museum for works of art and craft. Crossnore School is approved by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children.
