Founded in 1971, the Community Volunteer Fire Department provides a variety of fire protection and prevention services for more than 115,000 individuals in Texas. The department offer services for the residential and commercial sectors. It maintains various fire stations and a training center. The Community Volunteer Fire Department has ladders and engines equipped with tanks, thermal imaging cameras, and several hand tools, such as axes, haligans, and short and longs pikes.
