History
Ordained to the priesthood in 2003, I was licensed to officiate in 2008, shortly after relocating from New York City. Since then, I have married dozens of couples in Virginia and in North Carolina. I love officiating at weddings. Administering the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony is an honor given to me by God for which I am most grateful. Therefore, whether they have lived together for a long time or are establishing their first home together, nothing gives me greater joy than to send a newly married couple up the aisle into their new life, with God's blessing on their heads and God's love in their hearts, .
Specialties
I create and officiate at Catholic and interfaith wedding ceremonies throughout southern Virginia and central North Carolina. The wedding ceremony that I create for you will be unique to you, honoring your traditions, your beliefs and your customs. Readings, prayers and rituals are selected and crafted to reflect and express your special story, bringing together an elegant mix of dignity, humor and solemnity. Whether your backgrounds, denominational ties and current affiliations are identical or vastly different, at the heart of everyone's faith are truth, love, and God, and that is the level at which your lives are joined. Therefore, my ceremonies have included prayers and rituals in Hebrew and in Spanish as well as in English, and draw from Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Native American and Buddhist traditions. Whatever your background, tradition, sexual orientation or marital history, whether your wedding is in a chapel or outdoors, I will create for you a ceremony that you will always look back on with great joy. Serving the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill Triangle, as well as Apex, Burlington, Cary, Greensboro and Hillsborough.
