The owner and artist,Cecilia, worked at Vega Metal for 11 years. After the owners of Vega retired, Cecilia wanted to provide a space for local artists to interact with the community and display their work. Cecilia founded the Art Market 11 years ago and wanted to continue to provide vending spaces for those artists, and continue to help build and connect the art community of Durham.

We are a gallery and studio space that features all local artists. Cecy's art ranges from small pick me ups such as handcrafted jewelry and magnets, to larger wall pieces and garden furniture. Every Saturday morning we host the art market on Hunt Street, and a
