I became an advanced practice provider because when I was little, my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was extremely close with her and heavily involved in her cancer care and course, despite being quite young. She ultimately succumbed to the disease, but it sparked the fire to assist other patients and families as they navigate the healthcare system with life-threatening diseases. I attempt to guide patient care with shared decision making. It is very important that my patients hear all different approaches and options available to them. We spend time discussing pros and cons and try to choose a route that is best suited for their life and health status. My areas of special interest include adult hematology and oncology. Outside of work, I spent most of my time with family and friends. I am busy with an infant daughter and a rescue pup. I like to spend time outdoors and at the beach. My hobbies include traveling and baking.
