History

CCHS was started to help the animals of Carteret County have huimane care and treatment hat was not currently in effect. Through the years CCHS has grown to take on many roles for the animals and the community.

Specialties

We specialize in the physical and medical care of the stray, abandoned and unwanted pets for the entire county of Carteret. We assist in finding new homes for our animals through adopt-a-thons, rescues and public adoptions.
