We offer working dog and obedience training. Services include: obedience: on and off leash, drug detection, human and cadaver tracking, article search, bomb/explosive detection, defense: home and business protection. Ricky Smith, owner of Carolina's Mid-Atlantic K9, began working dogs with an older cousin when he was 12 years old. He was fortunate to be his cousin's young apprentice until he went into the US Army. During his time in the US Army, Ricky was housed across the training field from the US Air Force Military K9 police which furthered his interest in the working dog breeds. However, when he returned home from the military, another trade took him in a different direction. Ricky reconnected with his cousin and again became an apprentice and trained in-depth about the field. He is now using his love and knowledge of the working dog field with his business, Carolina's Mid-Atlantic K9.
