Im originally from Sarasota, Florida, 60 miles south of Tampa. I have spent the last eight years in Tarboro, North Carolina working in outpatient primary care. My nursing experience includes emergency department and stroke and cardiac inpatient floors. I chose to become a nurse practitioner because I could see that there is a great need for compassionate, quality patient care in our rural areas of North Carolina. I thoroughly enjoy being able to have my experience as a registered nurse in a variety of settings and be able to utilize it as an advance practice provider to take care of our patients and community. I enjoy family medicinefrom seeing my kindergarten kids to my elderly population and everything in between. I treat my patients and their family as if they were my own family. I look at it as our family is taking care of yours. Outside of work, I live on a small hobby farm in Edgecombe County raising children (three teenage boys), goats, chickens and more. I also like to hunt, fish and attend fundraisers with my Jeep family.
