Founded in 1964, Mountain Top Youth Camp, also known as MTYC, is a nonprofit organization that offers various programs for youths. Its facility includes an assembly room, dining hall, mountainside decks and shacks, Spring-fed swimming pool and cabins. The organization offers summer camps that include activities, such as rappelling, volleyball, hiking, basketball and tetherball for lower, middle and higher-grade students. MTYC organizes special events, such as autumn luncheons and local church and Labor Day weekend retreats. It also conducts various recreational activities that include swimming, softball, challenge courses, canoeing, campfire skits, and arts and crafts. The organization employs nurses, counselors and speakers. It is located in Pinnacle, N.C.
