History
Anta Sall is the queen of African Braiding. At the tender age of 11, this legacy was past on to her by her elders. As is part of her culture, she maintained her braiding hobby which she later transformed into a business. Upon her relocation to America, she continued braiding on a part time basis in addition to other career experiences. Anta moved from New York in the late 90's to Maryland, and later to Raleigh, North Carolina where she opened her second braiding store. While braiding, Anta decided to teach the art of African Braiding and open the first African Braiding Store and School in Raleigh, North Carolina. Anta is an expert in the field, and her work speaks for itself. She is highly acclaimed as the best in Raleigh, as customers from all walks of life come to patronize her work. Anta believes that the key to her business success is her customer service and effective communication.
