Fire District 13 Inc is currently staffed with 33 full time personnel and 33 dedicated volunteers. All 3 stations are staffed with 24-hour coverage, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Fire District 13 responds to approximately 1300 calls a year. We provide fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to Northeast Guilford County and the city of Greensboro. Our district covers 25 square miles and serves approximately 7000 residents. Station 13 is located at 2505 Lees Chapel Road and houses Quint 13 and Rescue 13. Station 55 is located at 4629 Hicone Rd and houses Engine 55 and Tanker 55, and Station 58 is located at 6912 Spencer Dixon Rd and houses Engine 58, Tanker 58, and our reserve apparatus. Our chain of command consists of a career Chief, 2 career Assistant Chiefs, 3 career Captains, 2 volunteer Captains, and 3 career Lieutenants.Fire District #13, Inc. provides its citizens with an ISO Class 5 insurance rating, which allows our district to experience low fire insurance premiums.
