Founded in 1972, the New York Council on Adoptable Children is a foster care and children adoption agency. Since its inception, the organization has been involved with more than 7,500 prospective adoptive families and placed over 2,000 children through its African-American and Hispanic child adoption programs. As a nonprofit organization, the New York Council on Adoptable Children offers residential, medical and educational services for children orphaned by AIDS.
