History
Currently, the state is paying Vita Center Inc. to provide training under the NYSELTC license for daycare businesses and to provide the tools to create a successful business under NYC regulations. Johanna is planning on creating more programs to teach financial literacy, adult language literacy,TASC and GED classes, and civic classes along with others. Under the Social Service initiative, the team will be working alongside immigration and civil advocates. Immigration, housing, and food applications as well as medicaid health services advocacy will be provided under this initiative.

We are a for-profit organization located in the heart of Forest Hills, Queens that focuses on igniting the professional, entrepreneurial, dreams of women in all status, positions, and walks of life. Vita Center empowers the community to achieve value and justice through education, business initiatives & survival services. Our services include workshops on how to open your own child care business, guidelines on establishing a business structure, and on-site training courses required by OCFS in the field of child care. Our Vita Teachers for Children Program has made it possible for our clients to apply for scholarships that assist them in achieving a higher education. Our mission is focused on extending more services such as business initiatives, career initiatives, and social services for the community in the future.
