UJA-Federation of New York is a nonprofit organization that provides social and humanitarian services to the poor, elderly and people in need. It operates Sunday as Funday programs that include social skills groups, recreational activities and Jewish enrichment classes for autistic children, as well as family programming and parent and sibling support groups. The organization also offers programs that provide resources to families with older children on the autistic spectrum; those who are transitioning to independent living; and people in need of vocational opportunities. UJA-Federation of New York also conducts art and music classes in synagogues, schools, parks and community centers. It operates the Jewish Resource Center, which provides opportunities to explore Jewish tradition. The organization is located in White Plains, N.Y.
