Founded in 1917, The Hebrew Home at Riverdale offers shelter services for senior citizens. It provides short-term care solutions for patients with orthopedic, neurologic and neuromuscular disorders. The center also offers pain management and audiology services, as well as occupational, physical and speech therapies. The Hebrew Home at Riverdale maintains a more than 42,000-square-foot indoor and outdoor space that includes a living room with a fireplace and a kitchen. The center additionally offers treatment for individuals with Alzheimer s disease and sexually inappropriate behaviors. It provides long-term care services for the victims of emotional, physical and financial abuse. The Hebrew Home at Riverdale has partnerships with the Westchester Department of Senior Programs and Services, Pace Women's Justice Center and New York City Department for the Aging.
