The Coalition of Behavioral Health Agencies is an advocacy organization of New York's behavioral health community. It represents more than 100 nonprofit, community-based behavioral health agencies that serve over 350,000 clients in New York City. The Coalition of Behavioral Health Agencies provides special purpose advocacy training and technical assistance projects for City, State and Federal-elected officials and agencies. It offers assisted outpatient, clinic and compulsive gambling treatment programs. The organization also provides case management, crisis outreach and intervention, family support, forensic mental health and on-site rehabilitative services. Founded in 1972, The Coalition of Behavioral Health Agencies operates the center for rehabilitation and recovery, which offers training and consulting services.
