Sweetbriar Nature Center is a non-profit organization located on 54 acres of garden, woodland, field and wetland habitats on the Nissequogue River, and gives residents opportunities to engage in native wildlife rehabilitation. The center also provides natural science education to Long Island residents of all ages, encouraging responsible decision making, appreciation and respect for Long Island's unique wildlife and ecosystems. The center hosts camps, birthday parties and features unique exhibits, like a butterfly house and rainforest room.
